The Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) has called upon the government to immediately start the construction of Kalabagh Dam so as to save the wastage of water. The bar in a meeting held with its President, Ahmed Awais in the chair here on Thursday, called upon the government to abstain from extending any help to America if she attacks Iran. The meeting also called upon the government to stop America from attacking Iran.

While addressing the meeting, bar members said America killed hundreds of thousands innocent people in Afghanistan and Iraq, and now hatching conspiracies to attack on Iran and Syria. They said the present rulers were safeguarding the interests of the US authorities.

They said General Musharraf was trying to please India and ignoring all the steps taken by her against the interests of our country. They said India was working on Baglihar dam since 1992 but the Pakistan government failed to stop it. They said the construction of Baglihar dam was violation of the agreements reached between both the two countries.
